Rihanna in Talks for ‘X Factor’ Over Britney Spears

Ay yi yi! More 'X Factor' drama is going down. Rumor has it now that Britney Spears is out, and if all goes well, Rihanna is in!

Hollywood Life is reporting that all negotiations between 'X Factor' and Spears are “pretty much dead.” If your head is spinning right now, you're not alone. Just days ago it was rumored that Spears was close to closing a deal with the show, even meeting up with her conservatorship judge to go over the details. It's unclear what went down to kill the talks (if they even happened).

However, there are still two vacant judging spots, and per Hollywood Life, it looks like Simon Cowell wants RiRi to fill one of them. Details on their talks are scant, save for that they are indeed going down.

It wouldn't be the first time Rihanna has worked with Cowell on 'X Factor.' The 'Birthday Cake' singer was a guest mentor on the first season of the U.S. version of the show, so she has experience judging and coaching in addition to being a global superstar.
