Rihanna’s May 4 Brooklyn Show Postponed Due to NBA Playoffs
Not many people, places, things or organizations would dare upstage Rihanna, but the NBA and its Brooklyn Nets are doing just that. The singer’s Saturday, May 4 gig at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn has been bumped to Tuesday, May 7 to accomodate a series-clinching playoff game.
Hey, don’t bellyache about it. At least it’s the fact that the Nets have forced a Game 7 against the Chicago Bulls to try and move on to the next round of the playoffs. It’s not like the postponed Texas gigs that Ri rescheduled for later this year due to falling ill.
Those who hold tickets for the Saturday show will see their stubs honored at the door on Tuesday. If required, refunds will be issued at the point of purchase, according to a post on RiRi’s Facebook.
The Sunday, May 5 show remains unaffected.
In other Rihanna news, no, she didn’t pose topless and share the photo on Instagram. Her RiRi Woo lipstick for her MAC Cosmetics collection was offered as an online exclusive earlier this week and it took a whole three hours to sell out! It’s a fiery, creamy red shade and clearly, MAC users wanted to ape RiRi’s signature red lips and scooped up tubes on the quick.
