#RIPCaroline Trends After One Direction and Magcon Boys Fan Caroline Richards Dies

Fandoms see themselves as family, so it's always especially personal when a member passes away. One Direction and Magcon Boys fans poignantly united to trend #RIPCaroline today after fan Caroline Richards passed away.

Social media star and Magcon member Carter Reynolds broke the news, tweeting, "Just found out that a huge fan of the guys and I has passed away..." He then shared a photo of himself and Richards, along with the caption, "#RIPCaroline - I'm going to miss you and that smile of yours. You will always be in my heart. Love you beautiful."

According to HollywoodTake, Richards was diagnosed with a former of bone cancer called osteosarcoma last January. Fans admired her for her bravery, even as she underwent multiple rounds of surgery and chemotherapy.

As the news of Richards' passing broke, fans tweeted with the #RIPCaroline hashtag, reposting photos of the young fan with stars such as One Direction and Magcon member Hayes Grier.
