Rixton Reveal Favorite Holiday Movies, New Year’s Resolutions + More [EXCLUSIVE]

When we hung with Rixton at JetBlue's Live From T5 event last week, we couldn't resist talking to the guys -- that'd be Jake Roche, Charley Bagnall, Danny Wilkins and Lewi Morgan, obvs -- all about their fave holiday movies, plans for Christmas and what their New Year's resolutions are.

When asked what they plan to do over the Christmas holiday, all members were unanimous in their answer: spend time with family and loved ones.

"We've all been on the road for so long now that, you know, it'll be nice to spend time with families," Charley explained as the guys agreed empathically. "Christmas is the short period of time when you get off to do that, so I think we'll all capitalize on that."

And as the band enjoys time with their families, there's no doubt that they'll curl up on the couch with a holiday movie or several. True story: The guys were so psyched to chat with us about their favorite Christmas movies that they talked all over each other to get their answers out. The consensus? The band loves 'Elf,' 'Nightmare Before Christmas,' 'The Grinch' (the Jim Carrey version) and 'Home Alone' so much that they couldn't resist imitating their fave scenes, including a hearty "KEVIN!" screech and Jake contorting his face in an (amazing) attempt to imitate a Who girl.

And as for their New Year's resolutions?

"Sleep," the band answered simultaneously. We don't blame them!

"I think it's just do as many shows as possible," Jake said seriously. "We just want to keep gigging and gigging and gigging and have as much fun as possible. It has been an incredible year, but it's also been incredibly stressful. Breaking America is a huge thing for us. We've put in a lot of hard work and we've still got to work extremely hard. It's all about getting your head down and staying fit and healthy and just getting on with it, really."

As Rixton gear up for the release of their debut album, 'Let the Road' (available worldwide March 3), and a tour with Ariana Grande, we know that 2015 has big things in store for the band. And we can't wait to watch them all unfold!
