Robin Thicke Busted for Marijuana Possession in New York
Robin Thicke is singing a sour note right about now. The R&B crooner was arrested in New York for marijuana possession. Yep, you read it correctly. We are just as shock as you are.
According to the New York Daily News, Thicke was handcuffed by patrol officers who spotted him allegedly toking on a spliff while sitting in his Cadillac Escalade. "He wasn't driving," said a police source. "He was arrested and a small amount of marijuana was recovered on him."
Thicke was with another person in the vehicle, but he was the only one charged in the incident. He was given a desk appearance ticket and released. No word if that other person in the car was his wife, actress Paula Patton. Rumors are also circulating that Patton may be pregnant again. The couple has a one-year-old son, Julian Fuego.
Thicke was in town for a performance Thursday night (Feb. 16) for the Nomad's Way benefit gala at the New York Public Library. We can only assume that afterward Thicke was simply having a relaxing smoke break from the night's festivities.
