DMX might have been in jail for a while, but now the rapper is back and it's like he never even left. Tonight on the 2011 BET Hip-Hop Awards, DMX and his fellow Ruff Ryder Swizz Beatz took the stage in Atlanta for an electrifying medley of throwback jams.

The duo kicked off their performance with 'Get at Me Dog,' and we never thought DMX's hard, gravelly vocals could bring such a smile to our faces. The crowd was also psyched to see X back on the stage where he belongs. Without skipping missing a beat, the rappers segued into their hit track from 1998 'Ruff Ryders' Anthem.' They closed out their performance in a very appropriate manner, getting the crowd waving their hands in the air as they rapped 'Party Up (Up in Here).'

We would like to thank DMX and Swizz Beatz for bringing us a much-needed dose of nostalgia at the BET Hip-Hop Awards. It's so great to see DMX rapping again. We hope we get to hear some new material soon.
