Both Katy Perry and her ex husband, comedian Russell Brand, are hard at work promoting their respective projects. While Perry is working on shilling the first single, 'Roar,' from her upcoming album 'Prism,' Brand is taking his comedy on tour -- and he has some jokes about their marriage that may not sit well with the singer.

The New York Daily News reports that Brand made a somewhat blue remark about his marriage during a recent London show.

"When you're a monk, you're not allowed to have sex with anyone," Brand reportedly said to his Soho Theater crowd on July 31. "When you're married, it's one person. That's one more than a monk. It's not that different." Later Brand is said to have added, "I'd be having sex thinking, 'think of anyone, anyone else.'"

However, it's important to remember that as a comedian, Brand's quips may be taken out of context. The 'Get Him to the Greek' star has said similar bits, but they were actually self-deprecating, as the "think of anyone, anyone else" tag was about him trying not to finish too soon -- which could actually be considered a compliment to Perry.

Still, Perry, who's own attempts at humor have fallen flat (remember 'Ur So Gay?'), didn't appreciate Brand's jokes about her even while they were still married. She revealed to Vogue, "He started making jokes about me and he didn't know I was in the audience."

With all due respect, Katy -- that's the guy's job!
