As Sabi's fame continues to grow, thanks to her guest spots on Cobra Starship's 'You Make Me Feel...' and Britney Spears' '(Drop Dead) Beautiful,' fans are eager to know when the singer will be releasing her debut album. Sabi told MTV she hopes to have it out by early 2012.

"We're still trying to figure it out, but it's feeling like at the rate we're going, top of the year," she said. "It's exciting. We're still working on it and I can't wait to get it finished and share it with everyone. So we're just still in the process, the grinding process of getting stuff out."

She added that her featured performances seemed like the perfect way to gradually make herself known to the world. "I kind of wanted to get out there and a do a little bit of the footwork and introduce myself slowly instead of 'I'm here!' And now, when I'm ready for a single that's like 'I'm here,' people aren't like, 'Who?' That's what I'm hoping."

Sabi has been working on the record with A-list producers like Diplo, Benny Blanco, the Cataracs and the Dream Machine. After appearing on the Spears track, she was invited to open for Britney on the Femme Fatale Tour. At the same time, 'You Make Me Feel...' finally started to take off, leading to an invitation for Sabi to perform the song live with Cobra Starship on the VMA pre-show.

The gradual-introduction method certainly worked for Nicki Minaj, who was featured on several tracks before her debut 'Pink Friday' finally dropped. Based on what we've seen so far -- including her teaser track 'Wild Heart' -- we think Sabi has the skills to follow a similar path to success.
