As PopCrush recently reported, Sade and Jay-Z have teamed up for a remix of 'The Moon and the Sky,' which appears on the soulful singer's greatest hits album, 'The Ultimate Collection.' The song, which was remixed byNoah "40" Shebib, has an interesting and appealing mix of sounds, with Sade's smooth vocals coupled with Jay-Z's rough-around-the-edges rapping.

The British singer-songwriter tends to stick to her signature sound, which is is mellow mix of soul, R&B, jazz, and soft rock. However, this time around, Sade is switching it up. The remix of 'The Moon and the Sky' features heavy drums, and also gets an edgier quality thanks to a rap verse from Jay-Z.

Throughout the song, Sade beautiful voice, which is laden with emotion and heartache, sings about a lost love. "You'll always know / The reason why / We could have had the moon and the sky / You'll always know / The reason why this love, reason why this love / Ain't gon' let you go," Sade sings during the song's chorus.

Jay-Z takes the role as the male figure within Sade's lyrics, rapping, "I know we could have had it all / I wasn't ready to go steady no not at all / Smoke and mirrors clouded my vision we hit a wall / Couldn't see the moon and the sky behind the fog."

The remixed version of 'The Moon and the Sky' is featured on Sade's new greatest hits compilation, 'The Ultimate Collection,' which is due for release on May 3.
