Sam Smith and Ansel Elgort have been visions in blue this awards show season. They both threw caution to the wind, bucked tradition and decided to grace their respective red carpets in midnight blue suits. Whose is your fave?

Sam Smith looked insanely sharp in his Casely-Hayford suit at the 2015 BRIT Awards. The bold hue -- which fell somewhere between a navy and electric blue -- made the "Stay With Me" crooner's eyes pop (and speaking of eyes, the singer was pretty easy on ours). And it looks like blue was his lucky color, as Sam Smith scored the honor of British Breakthrough Act as well as the Global Success Award. Since when does "blue" have to be a synonym for "sad"?

Ansel Elgort was pretty much twinsies with Eddie Redmayne at the 2015 Oscars, with both actors donning practically identical navy blue suits. Regardless of the potential fashion faux pas, the Fault in Our Stars actor, of course, looked absolutely drop-dead gorgeous in his Prada number. The hue was such a deep midnight blue that it was almost black, and the color made the star more swoon-worthy than ever -- if that's even possible.
