Sam Smith Sings ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’ on ‘A Very Grammy Christmas’

British R&B sensation Sam Smith closed out last night’s (Dec. 5) ‘A Very Grammy Christmas’ on CBS with a stunning, stripped-down cover of ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.’ Watch the full performance in over at Perez Hilton.

Accompanied by only piano, the singer-songwriter didn’t quite blow the roof off the house – but only because he was standing atop the Capitol Records building's roof in L.A.!

The performance was surely a cherry on top of a fantastic day for Sam, who took home a whopping six Grammy nominations earlier in the day. His debut album, ‘In the Lonely Hour,’ received nominations for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album, while his breakout hit, ‘Stay With Me,’ received noms for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.
