Sam Smith's lonely hour is no longer — he's found some top-notch company in Timbaland, and the pair seems to have made some beautiful music together.

Smith, whose debut album dropped in 2014, has been off the grid in recent months, and officially took a break from social media nearly a year ago. But according to Timbaland's Instagram, the soul-pop crooner is back at work — a new photo points to the fact that Smith's next big hit could be just around the corner.

"It was a pleasure working this man," Timbaland wrote of a studio pic with "#puretalent #goodvibes #makingmemories and #timeless #music" hashtags.

Followers seemed to agree, and left messages detailing eagerness to listen to the finished project.

"Ohhh this is gonna be goooddd! Super excited to hear this collaboration," one wrote, while another noted "another classic coming up."

Smith's most recent single, a re-release of "Lay Me Down," hit radio more than two years ago in February 2015. The singer's since remained mostly out of the limelight, but his work on "Writing's on the Wall" for Skyfall earned him a Golden Globe and an Oscar in January 2016.
