Sara Bareilles and Cyndi Lauper have collaborated with 'Today' show co-host Hoda Kotb to release a music video called 'Truly Brave' to raise money for pediatric cancer. The song is a lyrical mashup of Lauper's '1986 hit with Bareilles' 2013 single.

'Truly Brave' features young patients at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia who find themselves dealing with the grueling reality of living and fighting cancer as kids. The video, which begins in black and white, depicts a group of kids sneaking around the hospital and tip-toeing around nurses and doctors to lock themselves up in a secluded room. They then find themselves being kids again, as the video cuts to color and we see them having a paint party and letting us know that they have what it takes to be "truly brave."

Both 'True Colors' and 'Brave' have become timeless, modern classics for their inspirational lyrics about moving forward and stepping into the unknown. Seeing the smiles on these kids' faces is a true testament to their bravery, and we can't help but feel proud of them.
