Scotty McCreery has released the video for his debut single, 'I Love You This Big,' in which a small show turns into the talk of the town.

The video was directed by Shane Drake and shot in Los Angeles' Angels Point while the 'American Idol' winner was in rehearsals for the American Idols Live! tour.

“We found this park that had a little country feel to it and it all worked out,” McCreery says in a press release. “If I hadn’t told you that, you would think we would have shot that in North Carolina. The music video has a summertime barbecue feel, like a July Fourth party with fireworks and hot dogs and families.”

“The location for the shoot was really cool,” he adds. “If you looked one way, you could see Dodger Stadium, and if you looked another way, you could see downtown L.A."

'I Love You This Big' is the first song from the 17-year-old's forthcoming debut album, which McCreery can't wait to unveil to fans. “I’m really excited to let people hear what we’ve been working on and putting so much effort and energy and time into," he insists. "It’s something that I’m really proud of. I can’t wait for them to hear it! Hopefully they’ll feel what I was feeling in the studio.”

McCreery is currently on the American Idols Live! tour through September, and will perform on ABC’s 'Good Morning America' with 'AI' runner-up Lauren Alaina on Aug. 12.
