Scotty McCreery’s Success Highlighted in 2012 ‘American Idol’ Promo

There's no better way to get viewers psyched for the 11th season of 'American Idol' than by reminding them of the mega successful and meteoric rise of Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery. In a new promo spot for the upcoming season, which kicks off in January, FOX highlights McCreery's massive, post-show success by walking down memory lane.

The spot starts with Scotty's first audition in July 2010, then follows him to the 'Idol' live stage, on the baseball field, to the night his name was announced as the winner, to his music videos, and finally his post-win press and TV blitz. It's been a whirlwind year for Scotty McCreery and he's easily one of the show's most successful winners in recent years whose career became bigger than the show a la a Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.

The 46-second spot makes you wonder, "How can I not root for this kid?" It also makes you super psyched for Season 11 and excited about who will be Scotty McCreery's heir apparent since he has moved on to bigger and better things. Who is waiting in the wings? Who will be the next Scotty?
