Ryan Murphy’s new comedy-horror series, Scream Queens, won’t air on Fox until this fall, but the first trailer has already emerged — and now we officially can’t wait until the show’s premiere. Watch the preview in the video up above.

The clip opens with Emma Roberts entering the scene and announcing, “Good evening, idiots,” with the same kind of attitude she brought to her character on Murphy’s FX series, American Horror Story (seriously, she might as well be delivering her infamous AHS line, “Surprise, b---, I bet you thought you’d seen the last of me.”) Roberts will play Chanel Oberlin, the president of the ill-fated Kappa Kappa Tau sorority. How do we know it’s ill-fated? Because another character appears on-screen to offer the ominous warning: “You can’t join Kappa Kappa Tau. That house is dangerous.”

Fellow Scream Queens stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Ariana Grande and Lea Michele also make appearances in the 30-second clip. The latter dons a neck brace for the role, giving us serious flashbacks of her early, much dorkier Glee days (another Murphy production).

The preview also tells us that the ladies of KKT are up against a series of mysterious murders committed by a possible serial killer -- eek! As we previously reported, the show, like AHS, will be set up as an anthology series, with its first season spanning 15 episodes.

Earlier this year, it was also revealed Nick Jonas would join the Scream Queens cast, along with Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer and more.
