Selena Gomez has been working with the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, visiting kids in the hospital to lift their spirits and share the gift of music. Today, Seacrest announced he has selected Gomez to be an ambassador to the non-profit organization.

Seacrest announced on the air, "We have invited Selena to be an official ambassador to the Ryan Seacrest Foundation because she does such amazing work, and the kids absolutely melt when she's around."
