Selena Gomez Catches Rays in Florida While Filming

Selena Gomez is busy filming her new movie, 'Spring Breakers,' in Florida, which is perfect for the sun-loving star. In fact, she's been using her off time to catch some rays.

The 19-year-old singer recently posted this Instagram photo on her Twitter page, writing "Need sun." She's shown wearing a pink printed bikini, while sipping on a smoothie at the Four Seasons Hotel. Sel is also rocking gold aviators, and has her blue-streaked hair up in a bun.

'Spring Breakers' follows a group of co-eds who commit robbery in order to pay for their spring break trip. Naturally, chaos ensues. Gomez's role in the upcoming Harmony Korine flick is a far cry from the actress' true nature, though.

"She’s the little more tamed down character but also still gets a little crazy here and there,” she said about her part. “She goes on spring break with her girlfriends and they end up getting into a whole mess of things. They’re partying and drinking. We end up in jail.”

Acting drunk will be a challenge for the teen star "because it is completely opposite for me," she says, but we think Sel will do just fine. 'Spring Breakers' is expected to hit theaters in 2013.
