Selena Gomez may be busy getting ready for the release of her new single, "Good for You." But she took some time out to play a little ball yesterday (June 19).

Selena took part in the sixth annual Big Slick Celebrity Weekend in Kansas City, Mo. on Friday afternoon, which was held for the first time at the Kauffman Stadium where the Kansas City Royals play. The event raised money for the Children's Mercy Hospital and Cancer Center.

Selena, who rocked a Royals baby blue jersey, matching cap, black leggings and kicks, showed off her athletic side and even got a hit, which you can see above, as well as ran the bases on the field.

While at the game, she enlisted actors Paul Rudd, James Van Der Beek, Johnny Knoxville and Jason Sudeikis and rocker Chris Daughtry to say hello to her Selenators in a couple of videos she posted to Instagram. You can see them and a cute pic below.

Selena also expressed how happy she was to participate in the good cause on social media. "Today was a good day!!," she tweeted.

As we said earlier in this post, Selena is getting ready to release her new single, "Good for You," featuring A$AP Rocky, on June 22. She also recently flew to Cancun to promote her new movie, Hotel Transylvania 2.
