Selena Gomez has been tapped to host the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards on Nov. 6, the 19-year-old singer confirmed via Twitter on Monday.

"I'm so excited to be hosting the 2011 MTV EMA on Nov 6 in Belfast!" Gomez wrote. "Watch it live on MTV!" The pop star presumably won't be attending the event alone, as her boyfriend, Justin Bieber, is nominated for three awards that evening.

Gomez isn't only the host of the event, but a nominee, too. In fact, she'll by vying for the Biggest Fans award against Lady Gaga, Paramore, 30 Seconds to Mars and her very own BF, Bieber. Nothing like a little friendly competition to keep love alive!

This isn't Gomez's first hosting gig -- the Texas native manned the mic at the 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards earlier this year, and interviewed guests for the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards Pre-Show last month.

2011 has been Gomez's year. She released her highly anticipated third album, 'When the Sun Goes Down,' in June; released her new movie, 'Monte Carlo,' in July; and launched her first headlining tour that same month. Before hitting the EMAs, the singer will head to Canada for a 12-date trek with her band, The Scene.
