Between the release of her upcoming album, successfully avoiding physical contact with her weepy ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards and starring as a makeshift Katy Perry in Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" video, Selena Gomez sure is one busy celebrity. But she managed to squeeze yet another project into her packed schedule, as she's officially joined the cast of the dude-bro comedy sequel Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Selena -- who joins fellow returning cast members Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne, Zac Efron and Dave Franco -- will play a sorority sister in the forthcoming comedy. She stopped to take photos with fans in between shots, with the above video coming from a Snapchat she filmed on someone's phone.

Hopefully, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising will fare better at the box office than Zac Efron's latest effort, the abysmally-underperforming We Are Your Friends.

According to Box Office Mojo, We Are Your Friends, which was directed by Catfish co-host Max Joseph, opened to a scant $1.8 million despite showing in 2,333 theaters. That earns the film the worst opening for a 2,000 plus theater, live-action release in over 30 years. In other words: From Justin to Kelly had a better opening weekend than We Are Your Friends. Yikes.

The executive Vice President of Warner Brothers, Jeff Goldstein, said of the film’s poor performance (via The Hollywood Reporter), “This was a passion project for Zac Efron, and we believe in him. Yes, the result was disappointing, but this was a small film."
