Selena Gomez has unveiled the music video for her single “Same Old Love" exclusively on Apple Music today (September 22).

The Michael Haussman-directed video sees Selena observing various relationships that take place around her, from the backseat of a town car. Inspired by, well, these real people feeling real ways about things, she decides to ditch out on her impending obligations (aka the reason she’s in the car in the first place), before observing some more people through their windows, from her vantage point of the sidewalk. Selena eventually coming to her senses and heads to a theater right on time, to perform for her adoring fans. Fin.

(Sidetone: Sadly, there is no Bieber lookalike or allusion to him in this video.)

Selena commented on the decision to portray various relationships in the music video, saying (via Just Jared), “This song represents the many cycles of love and it was important that the video showed different examples of love. Plus, I got to surprise my fans by including them in it which made it even more special for me.”

"Same Old Love" is the second single off Selena's upcoming album Revival. In a recent interview with Wonderland magazine, she discussed the album's title, saying, “Obviously it is exciting and beautiful and I can’t wait. It is going to be my revival — that’s why I’ve titled it Revival. I had to realize that the real world was exactly where I need to be, or else I’m going to lose my mind.”
