Selena Gomez is featured in the December issue of Flaunt, looking gorgeous in a chin-length bob with heavy bangs. Of course it's a wig, but she appears mysterious and as though she were a French girl, flitting around at Parisian cafes. In the feature, she revealed why she keeps certain sides of herself private.

In the culture of overhsaring and selfies, Gomez is a bit guarded. She's not blasting Instagram with billions of pouty-lipped, posed selfies. Instead, she shares shots with fans while on tour.

This is not an accident.

When asked by Thirty Seconds to Mars singer Jared Leto, whose 'City of Angels' short film she appears in, why she keeps aspects of Selena Gomez guarded, the actress had a simple answer. “There’s nothing left for me, and there’s nothing left for my friends, and there’s nothing left for my family,” she said about why she isn't letting it all hang out.

Sel also spoke about Lorde's diss of her song 'Come & Get It.' ICYMI, Lorde said it was not a good message for girls. That comment, in turn, may cause Gomez to remove her cover of Lorde's smash 'Royals' from her nightly setlist. "That’s not feminism," the singer and actress said. "[Lorde is] not supporting other women. That’s my honest opinion, that’s what I would say to her if I saw her."

She continued, "I actually covered her song in all of my shows that I’ve done so far. I’m not sure if I’m going to continue that."

We wish Lorde and Sel would extend olive branches!
