Selena Gomez is sending a message to all of the haters out there -- especially the adult ones.

"I get picked on by grown adults all the time," the 'Rudderless' actress recently told E! News. "It's grown-ups and I don't get it. It just baffles me."

While Gomez doesn't mention anyone in particular, a guess could be made that at least one of the adults she's referring to is her former 'Wizards of Waverly Place' co-star, Jeff Garlin, who recently spoke out about how he is "disgusted" by the "sexualization" by the actress/singer.

"I wish I could just sit them down and say, 'What were you doing at 15? What were you doing at 18? What were you doing at 21?'" Gomez continued. "Because I can guarantee you it's not half of what I've done.'" Burn!

In all seriousness, however, we don't blame Gomez for being hurt or angry -- bullying is, of course, never OK, especially coming from adults who should know better.

Still, it seems like Gomez is looking on the bright side -- despite the difficulty.

"Trust me, it's hard," she admitted. "I've had my moments where I've let them get to me but I refuse to let them win."

We love how she's taking a page from Taylor Swift's book and having more fun than the haters do. Just 'Shake It Off,' girl!
