A snippet of the new Selena Gomez and the Scene single, 'We Own the Night' has leaked to the web, and in it, Mrs. Justin Bieber makes a really good point: We should "spend the weekend dancing, 'cause we'll just sleep when we die!"

"Nothing lasts forever / Let's live up when we're together / Nothing lasts forever, so let's live it up / Just do whatever,"‬ Gomez sings in a high-pitched, happy-go-lucky sort of way.

It's only natural that the 18-year-old teen popper would want to soak up the most of both the daylight and the darkness, given that she's dating arguably the world's biggest teen heartthrob and is floating on the cusp of a new album -- i.e., total bliss.

'We Own the Night,' co-penned by British singer-songwriter Pixie Lott, gets the point across fairly well, which is that Gomez wants to enjoy her ride on Cloud 9 now, because nothing lasts forever. Well, except her celebrity status, of course.

We can just hear it now, any Top 40 station within a thousand mile radius of planet Earth will be blasting this new Scene track all summer long, and you can bet we'll be bobbing our heads right along.

'We Own the Night' follows Gomez's last little slice of sunny pop goodness, 'Bang Bang Bang,' and is right on par with the fun, easy-going attitude she's trying to convey with her musical spawn. Like the last, this one will appear on the forthcoming Selena Gomez and the Scene record, 'When the Sun Goes Down,' which impacts on June 28.
