Selena Gomez confirmed the worst kept secret of all time recently, when she opened up about her rumored relationship with DJ-producer Zedd.

During a radio interview with New Zealand's The Edge Afternoons, Selena addressed comments Diplo made about her relationship with Zedd, claiming it was nothing more than a publicity stunt. Selena said (quote via PEOPLE), "[Diplo] said that was a joke! He said it was a joke 'cause I talked to him."

She elaborated, saying, "First off, it's very interesting that Diplo would think he knew about my personal life, but he doesn't. I adore Anton [Zedd] a lot and I definitely had a thing with him, which was nice."

So it looks like that relationship is past tense, but it was cute while it lasted.

And in case you're not sure which comments fueled Selena's admission, we'll fill you in. A few weeks ago, Diplo took a verbal swing at Zedd when he said (via the Daily Mail), " just think that he came from such a cool place, and now he’s been pegged as a money-maker for a major label to do EDM. But they’ve pegged him for that, they’ve marketed him, even the fake relationship with Selena Gomez, all the things to sell records took away from the music."

But now that Selena's cleared the air, we're guessing she's not too bothered by Diplo's comments. She's probably too busy celebrating the fact that her last single, "Good For You," debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Digital Song Charts to care.
