Sex Offender Reportedly Suing Taylor Swift for Writing ‘1989’ About His Life
A man currently serving time in prison for child pornography charges is reportedly suing Taylor Swift, claiming that she wrote ‘1989’ about his life. Okay.
According to Radar Online, Jose Hilario claims that Taylor emailed him in January 2008 — just a month after the singer-songwriter turned 18 — and asked him to Skype with her because “she was lonely and sad” and “needed someone to chat with.” Hilario claims that the two had a “good friendship” after speaking online and agreed to meet in person at a Rhode Island mall, where he alleges they “hugged and kissed.”
At the meeting, Hilario claims, Swift promised “she would help him with his legal problems and would write and sing songs about him.”
Just days after their alleged encounter at the mall, Hilario was arrested for possession of photos of a “minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct,” Radar reports. While serving time for the crime, the lawsuit states, Hilario “discovered that [Taylor Swift’s] new album titled ‘1989’ is about the life of the plaintiff.” He is now suing her to help him with his legal troubles, as Hilario claims she promised him six years ago.
He says he will drop the lawsuit if Swift agrees to “help me and restore our true friendship.” Radar reports that he is also trying to get the ‘Style’ singer to introduce him to Miley Cyrus.
Seriously, seriously creepy.
