‘Elle’ Cover Girl Shailene Woodley Stuns in White at ‘Insurgent’ Premiere

Shailene Woodley is keeping busy in the run-up to her latest starring role in the dystopian action film Insurgent. The 23-year-old actress hit the world premiere red carpet on Wednesday (March 11) in an elegant ivory column-style gown with a dramatic open back and threaded sleeves. Her hair swept back, Woodley stunned with a natural lip and soft liner to accentuate her brown eyes. See the complete look in the gallery above.

The Divergent star also covers the April 2015 issue of Elle in a strappy black bathing suit, silver smokey eyes and slick short hair. See the full cover below. In the interview, excerpted online, Shailene opens up about how she loves and wants to be loved, explaining:

"I fall in love with people based on who they are. When you're truly in love, for me, it's...you're my lighthouse! You're somebody who holds me high, keeps me safe, you've got my f----in' back.... You also love me whole, wild and free. You let me do me, and I'm gonna let you do you. And I'll be the home that you return to."

She also shared that she was born into a "family of warriors," giving her a childhood experience that no doubt colored her fierce performance as Tris in the Divergent series.
