The Latin music world's biggest awards show, the Latin Grammys, just got a little more star-studded: Colombian superstar Shakira has just announced that she'll be performing.

Shakira, who will be honored as 'Person of the Year,' joins the top musical artists from the Spanish-speaking world, including Calle 13, Franco de Vita, and Marco Antonio Solis. Shaki's album 'Sale el Sol,' which spawned singles 'Loca' and 'Rabiosa,' and also featured a gorgeous cover of the xx's 'Islands,' has sold over 4 million copies worldwide.

The awards, which will take place on Nov. 7 in Las Vegas and will air live on Univision, will be hosted by Lucero, a Mexican singer and actress who has hosted in the awards in previous years. Actress Zoe Saldana has also been confirmed to give out an award.

Shaki is known for her innovative sound and show-stopping performances, so we can't wait for her performance — although, if she's an honoree for Person of the Year, you'd think that she would get to take a night off. Either way, the songbird, humanitarian, and all-around superstar is always one to watch -- if only it wasn't for that pesky language barrier! Any Spanish-speaking friends want to come translate for us?
