Roy Garber, one of the stars of A&E's reality show 'Shipping Wars,' has died of a heart attack. He was only 49 years old.

Garber passed away on Friday, Jan. 17, after being rushed to a Texas hospital following the heart attack, his long-time girlfriend announced. The reality star had a history of heart problems.

Following his death, A&E released a statement, saying, "We are deeply saddened by the loss of a member of the A&E family. Our thoughts are with Roy's loved ones during this difficult time. He will be missed."

Garber, who was known as 'The Handyman' on the show, had just finished filming the fifth season of 'Shipping Wars' last Wednesday. His girlfriend reports that his cat, Muffy -- a frequent co-star on the show -- was by his side when he passed away over the weekend. Apparently, arrangements have been made to ship Muffy back to Garber's home state of New Hampshire.

R.I.P., Roy Garber.
