Sia Does ‘Chelsea Lately’ Interview With Her Back to the Camera [VIDEO]

This is an unexpected interview tactic! Last night (Aug. 19), Sia stopped by 'Chelsea Lately' for an interview -- but kept her back to the camera.

Although this sounds strange, especially considering interviews are usually a means to promote a star's current project, Sia had her reasons.

"I don't want to be famous. All my friends that I write pop songs for are super famous, and it really f---ed them up!," she explained. (Quote via Us Weekly) "And like being hunted, paparazzi-style, doesn't appeal to me. I want to be able to get fat and pee on the side of the road!"

Alright, we can understand her reasoning, even if it is a little unconventional. Besides, we could see Sia's signature blonde bob!

The 'Chandelier' singer also chatted with Chelsea Handler about her recent wedding to filmmaker Erik Anders Lang, joking that she's only known her husband six or seven days.

Before performing 'Chandelier,' Sia demonstrated how she writes songs. While Chelsea described it as being like "an alien giving birth," Sia scatted until she came up with a string of words, and went from there.
