Sia’s fifth studio album 'We Are Born' was released in June 2010, but US fans are just now getting to experience it live as Sia takes her show on the road for a run of North America tour dates.

When Sia’s tour rolled into the House of Blues in Boston, Mass. last night one thing was certain -- the Aussie artist has a style that is truly all her own. Her stage was adorned with colorful hand-knitted works of art that spanned the stage from one side to the other. Sia left no microphone, instrument stand or monitor left uncovered, and her band was dressed to match the stage.

Sia’s quirky, witty, stage banter and audience interaction is part of what drives her devoted fan base. Therefore, it was no surprise to anyone when three songs into her set, she stopped to open a present from a fan and chit-chatted with the crowd as if they were old friends. Oh, and then there’s the music. Sia’s vocals could give any reigning pop diva a run for their money. Although her set was short on material from her time with electronic duo Zero 7, the songstress powered through a set of songs spanning her solo career, from the more up-tempo numbers on her latest release to the empowering ballads that helped build her career.

Before kicking off her US tour, Sia made a guest appearance on NBC’s hit singing show 'The Voice' to help out pal Christina Aguilera. Aguilera and Sia’s friendship developed when the two collaborated on Aguilera’s 2010 album 'Bionic.'
Sia doesn’t tour in the US very often. So, if you’re a fan, check out the remaining dates on her website and get to one of her North American shows before the tour wraps on August 19 in Vancouver.
