Following the 'X Factor' judges' bloodbath that erupted recentlyrumors have started to fly regarding who might join Simon Cowell's show next season. Cowell has already put the kibosh on three names, including Beyonce. But what about Katy Perry? Well, she is still in the running!

"No. I have no idea where this rumor came from. I read it online that I offered [Beyonce] $100 million a year. It's complete nonsense," said Cowell in response to the rumors that Bey was being offered a huge salary to join 'X Factor.' "The budget for the show is $100 million. No one's gonna pay $100 million for someone ... It would never, ever, ever happen. It's absolute nonsense."

Another rumored contender who Simon said was out: Elton John. "He wouldn't do it," Cowell simply shrugged. And he seemed equally dismissive of the Mariah Carey rumors: "You can't expect someone who's just had two kids to make the kind of commitment you would need on this show."

So who does Cowell envision joining him at the judges' table? Well, he thinks Madonna would probably be too pricey for the show, but said she'd be "great." But he's most enamored with the idea of bringing Katy Perry on board. "She'd be fun, because she is... hot... in a good way," said Cowell. "And she is feisty."
