In her relatively short career, singer-songwriter Skylar Grey has performed with Eminem, Diddy-Dirty Money and Lupe Fiasco. But singing for the Dalai Lama has to be on the top of her "Wow, I Can't Believe It" list.

The 'Dance Without You' singer performed in Washington, D.C., Saturday (July 9) as part of the Kalachakra for World Peace on the West Lawn of the US Capitol. Grey sung a new version of Diddy-Dirty Money's 'Coming Home,' a song she originally penned, in tribute to the Tibetan spiritual leader.

The nearly three-hour event, which was hosted by actress Whoopi Goldberg, was highlighted by the Dalai Lama's speech for world peace.

Meanwhile, in preparation for her upcoming album 'Invisible,' Grey will embark on an intimate three-city tour in California at the end of the month. The Grammy-nominated songbird will hit San Diego, Calif., on July 27, San Francisco on July 28, and Pomona, Calif., on July 30.
