Snooki’s Husband, Jionni LaValle, Pleads Guilty to DUI Just Days After Wedding

According to a Totowa Municipal Court spokesperson (via E! News), Snooki’s husband, Jionni LaValle, plead guilty to a DUI that followed an arrest made earlier this year. Two other charges that were initially filed against Jionni -- including careless driving and an unsafe lane change -- were dropped.

As a result of the guilty plea, Jionni’s license will be suspended for 90 days. He will also be required to complete 12 hours worth of drug and alcohol education classes, as well as pay a $614 fine.

The guilty plea comes just a few days after Jionni and Snooki were married earlier last week, on Nov. 29. That’s certainly an unorthodox way to start off a honeymoon, but we wish the couple all the best and hope for a continued safe and healthy marriage going forward!

Today, Snooki tweeted a link to a blog post she wrote to "clear up the rumors" that tabloids have been printing about her wedding. In the post, she explained:

There are a lot of beautiful things people are saying, so thank you for all the positiveness with the dress being beautiful and me looking like an angel, and I definitely felt like an angel. But everyone is saying everything was for free, which is BULLS---. I wish everything was for free. Even though my wedding is going to be on 'Snooki and Jwoww,' I’m still a person, I still have to pay for s---. I’m not Kim Kardashian where everything is paid for, that’s only her. I paid for everything from the Venetian to everything… the seating. All that stuff. People I’m still human and I still pay for things! Not everything is for free in the world. Just wanted to clear that up. But my wedding was flawless and so so happy I’m Jionni’s wife finally!
