When it comes to icons it gets no bigger than Snoop Dogg. The veteran rhyme-slinger appears in Adidas' new commercial for their fall 2011 “all Originals” campaign.

Snoop is join by fellow rhyme-spitter Big Sean, pop siren-model Sky Ferreira and Orlando Magic basketball superstar Dwight Howard in this mostly slow-motioned commercial.

In the clip, we see Big Sean putting on his infamous gold jewelry before he hits the stage to rock the mic, followed by Snoop hanging out at a skate party in Venice Beach, Calif, and then Ferreira putting on some orange neon lipstick (eww) for a backlight rave party.

The ad is also intercut with shots of Adidas' "iconic" footwear styles over the past 40 years including the Superstar, Campus, Samoa and Gazelle sneakers. "The streets are callin'," says radio personality Charmalange the God. "To every individual, answer back -- we are all originals."

Through the years, Adidas has been synonymous with hip-hop and icons every since Run-DMC sang about their Superstar kicks in 'My Adidas.' Let's hope that our younger generation of pop stars like Big Sean and Ferreira can live up to their iconic fore-bearers. As for Snoop, he's the O.G. of icons, for rizzle my dizzle.
