Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa tip their hats to their drug of choice in a new track, 'Weed Iz Mine,' from their upcoming movie, 'High School.'

Snoop had a few things to say about the pair's green-induced collaboration, which highlights the best part of being a famous rapper. "We decided to go ahead and say, 'You know what? Let's do a movie and a soundtrack and just become, you know, bosom buddies and do what we do 'cause we love what we do and we love each other and at the same time we know what the people want," he tells MTV.

Apparently, what people want is to bring back Brandy and Monica. 'Weed Iz Mine' pulls inspiration from the duo's 1998 hit, 'The Boy is Mine,' and plays off of Paul McCartney and the late Michael Jackson's collab, 'The Girl is Mine.' The big difference here is that this song is about marijuana -- maybe that is the people pleaser.

Snoop adds, "The people want to see the two generations come together where hip-hop ain't about old school and new school. It's just about good music and making good moves and putting something out there that's classic where people can respect it and say, 'Yeah, so now, this was some gangsta sh-- that really made hip-hop gradually grow to another level.'"

Khalifa put it simply when he told Rolling Stone last week, "It's about pot, of course. But it's also a spin-off of us being cool in the industry, and smoking a lot of weed."

So there you have it! 'Weed Iz Mine' will appear on the soundtrack for 'High School,' which will light up and burn straight to DVD on April 20.
