Which song will reign supreme as the Song Of Summer 2015? We’re going through some of the top contenders of the year so far. Place your vote for your fave!

Yesterday (May 20), we presented the first two contenders in our 2015 Song of Summer poll: "Pretty Girls," in which Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea attempt to create "Fancy"-level magic, and Major Lazer and DJ Snake's "Lean On" feat. MØ, a mid-tempo banger with international flair.

Now it's time to size up two more potential summer jams that might have us cheering when we hear it in the club in June, nodding along as we're in line for soft-serve cones in July, and then collectively rolling our eyes when we hear it in a movie trailer by late August. The Song of Summer must embody everything we love about pop music, but writ even larger: It's addictive and mood-enhancing, but ultimately disposable when we're through with it.

Let's get to listening!

CONTENDER ONE
The song: “I Don't Like It, I Love It”
The performer(s): Flo Rida, Robin Thicke, Verdine White
The producer(s): soFLY & Nius and Yoan "Oddfellow" Chirescu
The charts: Has yet to crack the Billboard 100; My House EP No. 52 as of May 20 (peaked at No. 14)
The video: No official video yet, just a lyric video that's ostensibly shot from Flo Rida's POV as he scrolls his Facebook feed and likes lots of pictures of cute girls enjoying themselves.
The reasoning: Okay, we realize that between his "Blurred Lines" legal drama and the unfortunate public attempts to win Paula Patton back, some of you may not feel it's culturally or emotionally safe to enjoy Robin Thicke again. But hear us (and the song) out! The third single from Flo Rida's very strong My House EP is a bouncy affair complete with carefree whistles in the chorus and a funk injection courtesy of Earth, Wind & Fire bassist Verdine White. It's got all the ingredients of a summer anthem — to paraphrase the title of George Michael's 1990 album, listen without prejudice. Just let it wash over you, and don't resist the instinct to dance in your chair.

CONTENDER TWO

The song: "Peanut Butter Jelly"
The performer(s): Swedish house duo Galantis
The producer(s): Galantis
The charts: No. 12 on Billboard Twitter Emerging Artists as of May 9
The video: A lyric video featuring a hypnotically psychedelic cat-owl-hybrid thing
The reasoning: Galantis is made up of Christian "Bloodshy" Karlsson — part of the band Miike Snow, who also wrote on Britney Spears' "Toxic" — and Linus Eklöw, who co-wrote Icona Pop's "I Love It." So yeah, they know how to write a catchy-ass pop song. But beyond their bulletproof credentials, the song speaks for itself. With its pitched-up, purposefully goofy lyrics: "Spread it like a peanut butter jelly / Do it like I owe ya some money") and a triumphant disco break that would make Daft Punk's "One More Time" jealous, this is perfect for dance parties or driving around with the top down.

The time has come to decide: Which of these two songs will move onto the next round? Vote now!
