Last year, PopCrush readers named Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea’s collaborative effort “Pretty Girls” as our Song of Summer 2015. But who will lay claim to that title for 2016?

First up is Twenty One Pilots' "Ride," which earned the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Alternative Chart and also became the duo's second No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart. In fact, “Ride” also became their second No. 1 on the Hot Rock Songs chart, replacing previous single “Stressed Out,” which charted for 23 nonconsecutive weeks. PopCrush’s own Top 20 host Matt Ryan even predicted the song's success when he told us, "I’m waiting for Twenty One Pilots ‘Ride’ to really blow up in the pop world.”

Meanwhile, Meghan Trainor's sassy self-love anthem "Me Too" proved a fair contender as well, when it climbed the charts to land at No. 18 on this week's Billboard Hot 100, up 13 spots from last week's No. 31. The track is particularly popular in Australia, and has thus far peaked at No. 4 on the ARIA Australian Top 50 Singles Chart.

Both have summer soundtrack potential, but which track deserves to move on to the next round in the hopes of being crowned 2016's Song of Summer?

This poll ends Thursday, June 30 — be sure to get your votes in before then!
