This week was jam-packed with red carpet beauties, with everyone from Selena Gomez to Nicki Minaj stepping out in ultra glam ensembles for high-profile events. After looking at all five of the nominated songstresses above, who gets your vote for the best dressed songstress of the week?

For the 2012 UNICEF Snowflake Ball, Selena Gomez chose a black Dolce & Gabbana gown with bronze beading and a halter-style top. The floor-sweeping number flattered Gomez's fit figure and the colors complemented her sun-kissed skin and dark features.

Meanwhile, all the way over in Australia, Selena's BFF Taylor Swift was once again dazzling with her choice of red carpet attire at the 2012 ARIA Awards. The cream-colored Ellie Saab gown was another winner for the always fashionable 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer, and also showed off some skin courtesy of some sheer, lacy side panels.

Nicki Minaj was also at the 2012 ARIA Awards, and as usual, the rapper kept things bold and bright. She wore a rainbow-colored ensemble that consisted of a bra top with floor-brushing fringe as well as some patterned leggings and pumps to match. To top things off, literally, Minaj chose a long blonde wig for the event Down Under.

'Glee' starlet Lea Michele also got all dressed up this week for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and In Style's 2013 Golden Globe celebration. The actress, who is expected to drop her debut album next year, wore a beige Valentino gown that looked comfortable enough to sleep in! It has a casual chic feel while remaining totally glam, and we think it was one of Michele's best looks of the year.

Finally, we've got Katy Perry, who walked the blue carpet at the 2012 UNICEF Snowflake Ball in a Naeem Khan column gown with a detachable cape. The color and texture of the gown looks gorgeous on the 'Wide Awake' singer, but that cape felt a bit odd. Capes are never really cool, but maybe the empowering songstress was channeling her inner Wonder Woman that night.
