Mel B might be completely on board with a Spice Girls reunion in 2016, when the group will celebrate their 20th birthday, but it seems not all of her fellow girl power-arbiters are on board...at least not yet.

Last night (August 6), The Sun reported that a reunion and corresponding "massive national tour" were confirmed for four of the group's original members: Mel B, Mel C, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton. Victoria Beckham, on the other hand, will not participate because of scheduling issues, the site said.

But when the story was published, and rumors began to fly, some band members pleaded total ignorance.

According to the BBC, Bunton noted on her radio show that "nothing's happening at the moment," adding "If anything happens and it's concrete, and we decide on something, I will let you know."

Though her sentiments leaned toward a negation, Bunton later kept reunion-hopes alive when she tweeted "Do I need to put my pigtails in?!?!?"

Mel C also happily fanned the rumor-flames, tweeting "Woke up this morning wondering whether I need to start practising my backflips???!!!"

YOU ARE PLAYING WITH OUR HEADS, GIRLS.

The Spice Girls reunited most recently to perform at the closing ceremonies of the 2012 Olympic Games in London, which found them singing fan-favorite hits on top of moving cars.

What do you think—should the Spice Girls give a reunion another go, or should they let their high-octane performance at the Olympics serve as their lasting legacy? Sound off in the comments.
