Stars Who Disappeared from Hollywood

Every now and then a celebrity catapults to stardom so quickly -- only to disappear from the limelight just as fast, never to star in another made-for-TV movie again.

Stars like Rick Moranis and Dave Chappelle suffered the loss of loved ones, which influenced their decisions to either leave show business altogether or leave whatever projects they had going on at the time. Other celebrities, like Jonathan Taylor Thomas, cited a need to focus on school as a reason for leaving.
