Tonight on 'American Idol,' Stefano Langone tackled Boyz II Men's 1992, Grammy-winning classic 'End of the Road.' The challenge tonight is songs from the movies, and Langone chose the mind-blowing single from the Eddie Murphy romantic comedy 'Boomerang.'

After watching Langone's rehearsal footage, it was clear that he was planning on bringing it for his performance this week. Langone had a scare last week, when he and Pia Toscano were in the bottom two, with the latter being sent home.

Langone entered the stage wearing a casual combo of jeans and a T-shirt, but his performance was anything but simple. Langone gave every inch of soul he had in his deliverance of the Boyz II Men song, especially when he hit a mile-long note during the verse, "And baby just don’t let me, don’t let me down."

Langone recevied a standing ovation for his amazing and powerful performance. Randy Jackson kicked off the judging by telling Langone that the members of Boyz II Men would be proud, and that Langone conquered the song by believing in himself. Steven Tyler was in concordance with Jackson, saying, "This is so not the end of the road for you, it's just the beginning." Jennifer Lopez also praised Langone, saying, "It's like you got it. It's about being a great performer ... You now understand that."

Jackson also told Langone that it was his best performance yet on the 'Idol' stage, and we certainly have to agree. Langone gave a great rousing performance, and we hope to see him grow even more as 'Idol' plays on.
