Former porn star Stormy Daniels, 38, has been making waves for an alleged affair with President Donald Trump, but she's got pop music roots, too. In 2007, Daniels was prominently featured in Maroon 5's "Wake Up Call" music video.

"I was a little nervous, because I didn't know how much footage of me they were going to use," she said, "but they used quite a bit, so I'm pretty excited."

In the video, Daniels can be seen working the pole and an American flag. Watch the clip below.

In an explosive Wall Street Journal story published January 12, a source said that Daniels was paid $130,000 to stay silent as part of a deal that "precluded her from publicly discussing an alleged sexual encounter with Mr. Trump."

Daniels (real name Stephanie Clifford) said in a subsequent In Touch story that she and Trump had sex in 2006 in a Lake Tahoe, NV, hotel suite, just a year after Trump married wife Melania and four months after the couple's son, Barron, was born.

Trump, meanwhile, whose approval rating is nothing to write home about (54.3 percent of Americans currently disapprove of his performance, according to FiveThirtyEight), insists Daniels' story is fabricated.

“President Trump once again vehemently denies any such occurrence,” Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen said, according to InTouch.

Salon has also reported that Fox News was aware of Trump's relationship with Daniels ahead of the 2016 election, but decided against airing coverage.
