Sugarland ‘Stuck Like Glue’ Contest Winner Announced!

PopCrush is proud to announce the lucky winner of the Sugarland contest! We’ll be flying 21-year-old Courtney Wiesman (from Fairfield, Ohio) and her best friend/roommate Mary Miller out to Billings, Mont. to see Sugarland perform live on June 6. There, the two will have the opportunity to meet Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush backstage.

"I’ve been applying to so many of their contests, such as this Karaoke contest on MySpace," Courtney tells PopCrush. "It’s been my dream to meet them. I’ve never wanted anything more.”

To enter the contest, fans had to submit a video of themselves and one other person explaining why they are ‘Stuck Like Glue’ to each other. The number of video submissions made it truly difficult to choose a winner, but Wiesman's submission was the most creative and sincere. She won us over with her story of meeting her best friend Mary in college, and the two of them bonding over Sugarland music. Now that the two are graduating, they'll be taking this trip as their last "hurrah."

"I started crying in class and freaking out," Wiesman tells us once she found out that she won. "You just made my entire year."
