Swizz Beatz Says Kanye West + Jay-Z’s ‘Watch the Throne’ Is ‘Worth the Wait’

Producer Swizz Beatz says the upcoming collaboration album between Kanye West and Jay-Z, 'Watch the Throne,' is "a masterpiece" that is "worth the wait."

'Watch the Throne' has fallen off the radar since January, when the duo released the single 'H.A.M.' But the performers continue to work behind the scenes. Beatz tells MTV the record lives up to expectations.

"That album is also worth the wait as well," he says. "In this last month or so, it's really shaping up into a masterpiece. There's songs on there that's making you go crazy."

Beatz says he has at least a couple songs on the record and could end up with more. "Give me another week," he says.

West continues to enjoy success with his latest effort, 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy,' while Jay-Z supports his wife wife Beyonce over the next month as she promotes her upcoming album '4.'
