The Other Woman Confesses: ‘Swizz Beatz and I Were ‘Sexting’ Each Other’

The other ball has finally dropped in the texting scandal between Swizz Beatz and up-and-coming singer Christina Elizabeth. As we previously reported, salacious text messages between the married hip-hop producer and the 23-year-old woman were leaked online after Elizabeth lost her phone.

After being accused of leaking the convo herself to gain publicity and fame, Elizabeth issued a statement on Bossip to explain her side of the story. She insists that it wasn't her who leaked the text messages in the first place. She also admitted to having a sexual tryst with Swizzy while he was married to his now former wife Mashonda. Finally, Elizabeth revealed that she was indeed "sexting" with Swizz despite the fact that he is now married to R&B songbird Alicia Keys.

Elizabeth said in her statement:

Recently, we’ve been contacting each other (as you’ve all seen), but I haven’t physically seen him. We were making plans to, but I had to work and I wasn’t going to take off work to go see him. I live on my own, I have responsibilities and I strongly believe that if you are not contributing to those responsibilities, there is no reason for me to neglect them to entertain you. I am a very independent individual and the people who know me will tell you that I would never hold my hand out and ask for anything and if I do, I have a very hard time doing it.

Even though Swizz offered and offered and offered to buy me things, the only thing I accepted was plane tickets to go see him. He’s a wonderful man and I had a great time with him as well as a great relationship. Of course he’ll deny the whole thing and of course Alicia will stand up for her man. It's understood.

What's understood? That you shouldn't be having an online affair with a married man? Well, this scandal should pretty much end Swizzy and Keys' marriage, right? Wrong. Despite the Internet going nuts over this story, the couple celebrated Swizz's 33rd birthday on Tuesday (Sept. 13) as if it nothing happened. Surprisingly, on his own birthday, the producer gave his wife a luxurious red Lotus car to match his yellow one. "The best part of my Bday today was my gift I made my wife because my Bday is her Bday #love4life:) #1of1Lotus!" he tweeted on his Twitter page.

Wow! Well, good for them. If Alicia can bypass Swizzy's marital transgression, I guess we can too. Who are we to judge? But dang, does anyone have a problem with Swizz sending BBM messages to another woman?
