T.I. has proven to be quite the peacemaker.

The rapper recently spoke to MTV about his part in ending that nasty feud between Iggy Azalea and Snoop Dogg.

T.I. says he wasn't worried about the feud and would have just let things play out had it not gotten so public so fast. But because the entire thing happened via social media, suddenly everyone had an opinion on it. He told MTV: "I stepped in when it became a public topic of discussion...when it stopped being between two people and it was being observed by the world, and it was almost like people were tuning in just to see what was happening next.”

Although he insisted he didn't force Snoop to apologize -- "I didn't ask, request or demand for any post to be put up or apology to be extended." -- T.I. did mention that Snoop knew exactly why he was calling. They had a 'very, very, very cordial and respectful' discussion, moving on quickly from the topic at hand.

T.I. went on to talk about the close relationship he has with Snoop, which -- despite the singer's claims -- probably influenced the apology: "Me and Snoop have a long-standing personal and professional relationship. I have a huge amount of admiration, love and respect for him and for what he’s done for the game — for people like me to be able to do what we do."
