Okay, so we have egg on our faces, right now. After his attorney denied the initial reports, T.I. has been officially released from an Arkansas prison early Wednesday morning (Aug. 31). The Atlanta rapper will now serve the rest of his sentence at a halfway in an undisclosed location.

The 'Whatever You Like' rapper issued a statement by way of his Twitter account this morning. "Feels great to be back where I belong … back in the arms of those who need me the most, he tweeted. "The storm is over & da sun back out. IT'S OUR TIME TO SHINE SHAWTY!!!!! Welcome to the beginning of our Happy Ending!!!!"

T.I. served just short of an 11-month sentence for violating his probation stemming from a Sept. 1 arrest for possession of a controlled substance. He entered the Forrest City Federal Prison facility in Arkansas on Nov. 1.
