Love can be a tug of war, according to T.I. on the bittersweet rap ballad 'Guns and Roses.' The track also features the oh-so talented Pink singing the yearning hook with her soulful voice.

On the song, which was produced by T-Minus, T.I. spits an honest portrait of the difficulties that come with a tumultuous relationship that has reached it's boiling point. "Between being with them forever, leaving them never / But it seems like you argue and fight over whatever / Maybe we can leave and find someone better / Even though you know you never known none better," he spits.

Pink sings the heartbreaking chorus that goes, "Should have known it from the start it was already over / We were just too dumb to notice / And we'd pray but even love couldn't save us / We'd wake up on a bed of guns and roses."

The production may sound a little familiar as producer T-Minus updates the classic hip-hop breakbeat 'Ashley's Roachclip' by The Soul Searches -- used famously on Eric B. & Rakim's 'Paid in Full' -- with a harder beat and orchestral strings.

'Guns and Roses' has all the hallmarks to do well on pop radio -- thoughtful lyrics, Pink on the chorus and a catchy (and familiar) drum beat that should get heads nodding.

T.I.'s 'Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head' will arrive in stores on Tuesday (Dec. 18).
